Since the 1920’s, the Dordogne has been creating a strong and close relationship with cinema and television. They narrate it, reinvente it, enhance it in every new story. In return, Dordogne brings them the most beautiful it can offer: its preserved locations and its peace and quiet. It is valued by the most famous directors as Ridley Scott, Bertrand Tavernier or Luc Besson, as well as the youngest ones, like Benjamin de Lajarte, Emmanuelle Bercot and Jorge Dorado. From France and all over the world, they are all appealed with its lights and landscapes.
This strong relationship, which gave birth to more than a hundred feature films, we wanted to find it again, and most of it, SHARE it with you all.
